Textbook Collection

In our open stack collection of textbooks you will find textbooks for all subjects as well as basic study literature in multiple copies at your service for immediate lending. The books are stacked the same way as the reading room holdings, that is according to the RVK, the  Regensburger Verbundklassifikation (RVK).

You can take the book you need directly from the stacks and borrow it at our self-service issue desks.
You may borrow the books for four weeks according our regular lending conditions, i.e. you can prolong the lending period for up to ten times, provided no other patron has made an advance order for the copy in question.

Like all our regular holdings you can find the titles of the textbook collection in our OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) and see whether a copy is available for loan or not. In case all copies are on loan, you can turn to our staff to place an advance order for you.

In case all copies are on loan, please turn to our staff at the counters in the entrance hall or Reading room 1 (i.e. Infosaal 1). They will help to make a reservation for you.
You will find the Textbook Collection on the ground floor, to the left of the hall counter.
