Library planning once and now: The Central Library Building (German language)

The architect of the university library was Richard Döcker, a representative of the Stuttgart School of New Building. The guided tour brings the original conception of the building close and provides insights into the "old" Döcker library and the spaces redefined by the architectural office of Bernhard Focht in 2012. It shows the close connection between the spatial structure and the library concept.
