The collections in the Economics Library cover the fields of general economics and business economics. The library provides students with a space in which they can prepare for and follow up lectures and seminars and where they can work on their written assignments, seminar papers and final-year theses. Teaching staff can plan and prepare lectures and other classes, while researchers can use the library’s resources to pursue their own research projects. With its collection of around 150,000 books, a large number of journals, continuously updated loose-leaf works and an archive of company financial records (annual financial statements), the library offers a comprehensive set of resources for those studying, teaching or researching economics.

The Economics Library is areference library. The materials held in the library may be consulted by users in the reading room. Items may only be borrowed over the weekend for students writing their final-year thesis (Diplom, Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis).
