Our subject specialists provide help and guidance to users who need to search for source materials as well as to students who require information for presentations, written assignments and seminar papers, and to those working on a Bachelor’s, Master’s or doctoral thesis.
The subject librarians at the SULB also develop and deliver subject-specific workshops and can provide individual assistance on request.
Subject librarians work with the university departments to provide introductory information sessions and course-integrated instruction aimed at teaching students discipline-specific research methods and how to use subject resources effectively.
The subject list provides an overview of recent acquisitions, specialist databases and textbook collections in each academic discipline, as well as the relevant training courses on offer and the on-campus institutions active in that area.
