Your library loan account

Your library loan account shows you which materials you currently have out on loan, allows you to renew your loans and provides additional information about your account, such as whether you have unpaid library charges.

The nine-digit user number is made up as follows:

• For students, the number comprises the digits ‘11’ followed by their student registration number.
• For university staff members, the number comprises the digits ‘1100’ followed by their personnel number.
• For non-university members, the user number is printed in full on their library card.

The default password is your date of birth in the format DDMMYYYY. For security reasons, you should change your password at the earliest opportunity.
If you changed your password but have now forgotten what it is, please get in touch so that it can be reset.
