• New interlibrary loan requests
• Loan period extensions for borrowed media (Late fees will not be charged during this period)
• New registrations (creation of new accounts)
• New notebook loans
• Fee payments
• Reservations for workspaces in the Homburg Medical Library
• Self-check-out and return station
• Article orders via ELiSa
• Reservations

We continue to offer you:

• Our regular opening hours from Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Media orders in OPAC via an online form
• Collecting books from the IDA collection shelf on the next working day
• Booking and returns at the service desk
• Reservation of permanent workstations and lockers, as well as group work rooms against a deposit at the service desk (Saarbrücken Central Library)
• Collection of interlibrary loans delivered before 5 December 2025
• Use of reference collections
• Borrowing and use from open access areas (textbook collection, etc.)

We strongly recommend the following before 5 December:

• Order any necessary interlibrary loans in advance
• Create a user account before 5 December 2025
• Return any media you do not need before the winter holidays, or make sure you have the literature you need in good time
