Open Science at the University of Saarland: New information platform now online

Saarland University is stepping up its commitment to open science: new webpages containing a wealth of information, guidance and practical advice for research and teaching are now available.

What does Open Science mean in practice? What opportunities does Open Science offer for research and teaching? You can find answers to these and many other questions on Saarland University’s new Open Science webpages.

The content has been developed in close collaboration with experts from the SULB, Research Data Management, Triathlon and the Saarbrücken Initiative for Open Science (SIOS). The document ‘Fundamentals and Recommendations for the University of the Saarland’s Open Science Policy’ is also available. It provides a clear overview of the key principles of Open Science, practical recommendations for action and specific examples of how it can be applied.
