Profile

The history section of the library contains important materials covering the scholarly study of historical sources and heraldry as well as the individual periods of world history up to the present. The library also houses collections on the history of law and on ecclesiastical history. 

The library is areference libraryopen to all members of Saarland University. Students are permitted to take items out on short weekend loans. Longer loans are possible for users who require materials for research purposes. To help you find the shelf location of a particular item, we have prepared a page that explains the classification system and the classmarks (call numbers) used to label items.
