Individual study spaces are located in the Main Reading Room, the Small Reading Room and in different sections of the Philology Library. In the Small Reading Room there's also a number of study carrels available.
In the Main Reading Room it is possible to reserve an individual workplace for a period of 1 month. Please contact the reading room supervisor for that.
Students who are writing a thesis (e.g. Bachelor's thesis) or are preparing for a final examination (e.g. state examination) have the option of reserving a carrel (lockable work cubicle) in the Small Reading Room or an individual workplace in the Main Reading Room for a longer period of time.
The reservation period is then 3 months. Doctoral students may reserve a space for up to 6 months.
Reservations are possible upon presentation of a written confirmation from the responsible examination/doctoral secretariat via the counter in the reading room.
