Learning spaces

At the central library you’ll find a wide range of study and work spaces to suit different needs and working styles.

Please note: Water is permitted at the desks; food is only allowed in the café.

Reserving desks and carrels:

Desks in the Main Reading Room: Reservation for 1 month.
For final-year dissertations/thesis or exam preparation: Reservation of a desk or carrel (lockable study cubicle) for 3 months.
For PhD students: Reservation for up to 6 months.
Reservations can only be made during service hours: Mon–Fri, 8 am–6 pm, at the service desk.
Prerequisite: A confirmation from the Examinations or PhD Secretariat is required for reservations.
