You can study while your children play

The Parent & Child Study Room offers a child-friendly environment in which parents can learn together with their children. Parents can conduct literature searches or work on written assignments while their children play, read or sleep nearby. The room is accessible during the entire opening hours!

The room is equipped with a PC workstation with a washable keyboard and two office chairs. The kids’ corner includes children’s chairs, books and toys. No reservation is required and the room is primarily designed to be used by families. Once you have finished using the room, please make sure that the room is in a clean and tidy state when you leave.

The Parent & Child Study Room is located in the German Studies section of the Philology Library on the first floor (level 1). Parents and their children can access the room via the stairway in the Infosaal or by taking the lift in the British/American Studies section of the Philology Library.
